Let’s start with the basics: software and hardware.

But what about the web-based part?

People tend to throw around the term without fully understanding what it means. Cloud computing is simply storing data and running apps somewhere else on the internet than on your own hard drive.[/av_textblock] [av_hr class=’invisible’ height=’5′ shadow=’no-shadow’ position=’center’ custom_border=’av-border-thin’ custom_width=’50px’ custom_border_color=” custom_margin_top=’30px’ custom_margin_bottom=’30px’ icon_select=’yes’ custom_icon_color=” icon=’ue808′ font=’entypo-fontello’ custom_class=” admin_preview_bg=”] [av_textblock size=’16’ font_color=” color=” custom_class=” admin_preview_bg=”] A lot of apps will also use a database to store data and the computer that the database runs on is usually referred to as a server.
